Artificial Us is an immersive, interactive installation that confronts the aesthetic and ideological biases in mainstream image generation. Created by Latin American artists Tiago Aragona and Matias Piña, it uses fine-tuned machine learning models and motion tracking to craft a living, generative narrative on neo-extractivism, exposing how AI systems reflect global power structures.
Audience participation triggers visual transformations, revealing the tension between representation, identity, and algorithmic control. Artificial Us challenges viewers to question who shapes the future of creativity and whose stories are excluded, offering a thought-provoking exploration of AI’s role in art and society.
