The Office of Science & Technology Policy (OSTP), which guides the White House on areas of strategic technological importance, recently issued a 5-priniciple based blueprint of what's being called the 'AI Bill of Rights'.

More recently, the City of New York passed a local law (144) which specifically focuses on 'Automated Employment Decision tools' and lays down penalties for companies which cannot prove that a 'Bias Audit' was done on the tool that supports or decides on whether someone is employable or not.

This has huge ramifications for 2023 and beyond, and also opens up new opportunities for 'AI Audits' - leading to more adoption AI-led decisions across use cases.
