The Research to Practice session is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice through working collaboratively with practitioners and academics. Each session will be led by a leading research and innovation institute on a specific researching project. Discussion will focus on how to turn research innovation into business practice.

This session will be led by Omdena. Omdena and Hanson Robotics collaborate on the research project for GAIA Compassion AI. The results from the research project are currently being integrated into the most advanced human-like robot, Sophia. Omdena project lead will share their experience of testing and experimenting compassion AI.
