Andrea Qiu is a Senior Data Scientist in the Global Data Science department at Merck. Currently, she is in charge of Product Management and Data Science Delivery for a recommender system in the commercial data space. Andrea has extensive work experience in the US healthcare industry. In her previous roles, she helped develop advanced Machine Learning algorithms, data analytics, and visualization capabilities at places like Mayo Clinic and MSKCC, as well as life science start-ups. She has a master’s degree from Cornell University and a bachelor’s from Brandeis University, with a multi-discipline background in Computer Science and Business.
