Rich is a Principal in Deloitte Consulting where he serves as the leader of Deloitte’s US Strategy & Analytics practice, which serves clients in architecting strategies for growth and value creation, configuring the business to win, and unlocking business value through data and artificial intelligence innovation and engineering. In his personal area of practice, Rich has significant experience in guiding clients through strategy-led transformation to achieve profitable growth. He routinely advises the boards, CEOs and executive teams of Consumer Product companies on topics spanning growth, purpose, business model innovation, operating models, capability building, analytics and technology adoption. Rich is passionate about the intersection of strategy, digital technologies and enterprise transformation. He is a co-author of the book, The Transformation Myth, a leader’s guide to digital business transformation amid disruption. Rich serves on the Northwestern University MBAi advisory board where he partners with the faculty at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management on business strategy and AI related research and classroom instruction. In addition to serving global Consumer Products as an account leader and executive advisor, Rich has held numerous Firm leadership roles over Offerings (Future of Advise, Strategy Offering, S&A Offering Portfolio), Sector (Consumer Products sub-sector and offerings leadership), Talent (Northwestern University recruiting) and Global (Maestro Digital Signature Issue). Rich also served on the US Board Council in 2019-2020 contributing to Firm governance. Rich earned his undergraduate degree in engineering from Kettering University and his MBA from Columbia Business School. Rich resides in Chicago with his wife Maya, son Devan, and daughter Siona. In his personal time Rich enjoys wine, cooking, reading, travel and is an enthusiastic fan of Chicago’s professional sports teams (Go Cubs Go).
