Brian Dummann
Brian Dummann is the Chief Data Officer and Vice President of Technology Innovation & Architecture at AstraZeneca. He leads a global team focused on accelerating the impact of technology, data, and artificial intelligence across the enterprise.
Brian has more than 25 years of experience leading technology, data, and analytics at large multinational companies; with over 18 years in the medical device and life sciences industries. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Brian led successful data and analytics transformations as the Head of Data & Analytics at both Intel Corporation and McKesson. He has also held a variety of technology and data leadership roles at General Emerson, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic.
Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Minnesota. He also served for over 10 years in the US Army as a Military Intelligence Officer. Brian is married to Sandi and has two teenage children Gabby and Ben. He enjoys running, golf, skiing, and travelling with the family.
