Bridget Boakye is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Science and Technology Unit at the Tony Blair Institute(TBI) for Global Change. Her policy work seeks to improve the lives of people around the world by leveraging the opportunities enabled by 21st-century connectivity to address new risks and challenges, and create an approach to regulation that is fit for the modern age. Her present work focuses on AI policy and regulation, including the development of regulatory frameworks for emerging markets, government AI adoption toolkits, strategic advising on AI institutions like the AI Office, and championing inclusion and diversity through flagship events like TBI’s African Women in AI Summit. Through published reports, blogs and other thought leadership, she informs technology and innovation strategies, shaping technology adoption and governance on the global stage.
