Cassie Gregson
Cassie Gregson leads IT teams responsible for supporting the global clinical development, patient safety and regulatory portfolio at AstraZeneca as well as R&D in Japan. She is passionate about unleashing technology to accelerate the delivery of innovative medicines to patients and currently oversees some of the largest technology transformation investments at AstraZeneca.
Cassie is a strong research professional with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) focused in Biomedical Sciences and a postgrad in Computer Science. She joined AstraZeneca in 2002 as a research scientist who embraced informatics and quickly grew her technical capability. Her strong business partnership skills coupled with her ability to converge science and technology for business benefit have contributed to her advancement as a global IT leader.
Additional areas of interest for Cassie include strategic workforce planning, mentoring early career colleagues and exploring the United States with her family after moving from the UK in 2023.
