Damian Fernandez-Lamela is the global VP of data science and analytics for Fossil Group, where he leads the team helping the company make insights-driven decisions impacting marketing, pricing, product design, channel, and supply chain. He has more than 30 years of experience in applying analytics to gain a competitive advantage. Before Fossil he held senior analytics roles for RealPage, Omnicom-AT&T, and DELL where he was responsible for optimizing decisions for $1 billion in annual advertising spend. In 2020 he won the Marketer of the Year Award in marketing research from the AMA and he won the Analytics Genius Award from the ANA. Damian has an MBA from MIT and a Master in Software Engineering from the University of Salamanca.
