Dr. Njie previously served as a senior scientist studying neurogenetics in a Nobel Prize-winning laboratory at Columbia University, was early to recognize the immense potential of AI. He founded Genetic Intelligence (GI), the first medical AI company to emerge from Columbia University. Dr. Njie recently founded Ecotone, a company pioneering a foundational Large Genomic Model (LGM) to power AI-designed Precision Medicines. Ecotone near unanimously won 'Best AI Company' at the AI Summit conference in London, summer 2023
