Jan is a VP at Brave Software, and leads business efforts for Brave Search, the largest independent search engine outside Google and Bing. Brave Search sees >20 million queries per day and provides powerful real-time data to various AI and LLM partners via an API. Previously, Jan was an investor at American Express Ventures and a technology investment banker at Credit Suisse. He has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford and an MBA from Chicago Booth.
