Joseph is an Investor at AlleyCorp, where he focuses on sourcing, investing, and incubating materials science companies with an emphasis on nanotechnology, semiconductors, advanced compute, and energy. He is an advocate for scientific entrepreneurship, helping scientists move their research from lab to product with a focus on scalability and integration. Joseph was previously a Journeyman Fellow at the US Army Research Lab, where he conducted research focused on building novel neuromorphic computing chips for advanced army applications. He also served six years in the Army National Guard, where he was a two-time honor graduate and held leadership positions throughout his career.
