Kevin Werbach
At the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Kevin Werbach’s expertise focuses on navigating the business and policy implications of technology developments, including AI, algorithmic systems, gamification, blockchain, and digital assets. Kevin has taught at Wharton for nearly 20 years and serves as chair of the School’s Legal Studies and Business Ethics department. He directs the Wharton Blockchain and Digital Asset Project.
Kevin’s impressive resume includes serving on the Obama Administration’s Presidential Transition Team and helping develop the U.S.’s approach to internet policy at the Federal Communications Commission during the Clinton Administration. He’s the author of four books, has created one of the most successful open online courses on Coursera with more than 500,000 enrollments, and is frequently mentioned in the mainstream media, including Fortune and NPR.
