Lauren Pully

Head of Engineering, Democratic National Committee (DNC)

Lauren is the Head of Engineering at the Democratic National Committee (DNC).  In that role she oversees the DNC’s engineers, who are dedicated to developing data processing tools and voter protection systems that feed analytics critical for powering races from US President to local downballot contests.  Prior to her role at the DNC, she was a Senior Engineering Manager at Duo Security (owned by Cisco), where she oversaw 6 engineering teams focused on endpoint protection products.  She was also the first Chief Technology Officer at the Texas Democratic Party, where she was responsible for the analytics and targeting for 1,500+ Democratic candidates across the state of Texas.  Additionally, she has spent time working as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, as a software developer at Goldman Sachs, and as a software developer on the Hillary for America tech team.  She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University, an MBA from MIT Sloan, and a M.S. in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy from NYU.
