Laurence is the AI Advocacy lead at Google, with a mission to make AI easy for developers around the world. He is the best selling author of more than 20 books including the recent 'AI and Machine Learning for Coders'. He teaches online courses at Coursera with over 1 million students. When not doing AI, he's also a science fiction novel and comic book author, and is currently writing a movie for a major Hollywood studio. Laurence lives in the Seattle area of the USA.
