Lynn Wu
At the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Lynn Wu’s expertise focuses on the use and impact of emerging technologies, such as AI, on business. Her research examines how AI and big data analytics affect innovation, business strategy, labor outcomes, and productivity for large firms and startups. Lynn has taught at Wharton for more than 12 years and serves as a Digital Fellow at Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centered AI.
Lynn’s work has been widely recognized, leading to numerous accolades, such as early career and best paper awards. Outside the classroom, Lynn consults startups and government agencies, working with some of the most notable titans in technology, including IBM, SAP, Google, and Facebook. Before Wharton, she was a software engineer and a research scientist at MIT AI Lab and IBM. Her work has been featured in notable media publications, including the Wall Street Journal and WIRED.
