Mike Johnson is the Global Innovation Lead for CAA Brand Consulting. Johnson brings nearly 20 years of experience to his current role, helping brands develop talent and cultural marketing strategies using emerging technologies, content, and social platforms to drive business goals and social impact. 

Prior to CAA, Johnson worked at The Marketing Arm where he was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Innovation.

Before joining The Marketing Arm, Johnson co-founded Next Impulse Media. The company's flagship website, Next Impulse Sports, was recognized by Time Magazine as one of the best sports websites of 2012. Previously, Johnson served as Vice President of Business Development at North Social, where he led the sales and partnership teams and built social business strategies for brands. In addition, Johnson held numerous leadership positions at EA SPORTS, where he worked with companies to deliver gaming content directly to consumers through digital distribution platforms.

He received his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Amherst College and lives in Frisco, Texas with his wife and four daughters.
