Mirka Snyder Caron is a Canadian lawyer working in the financial industry, advising on legal matters pertaining to banking regulation, digital law, privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies such as AI. She has worked in big financial institutions such as National Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Canada and Toronto Dominion Bank. She graduated from her LLB and Juris Doctor in Common Law from University of Montreal and from her LLM in International Banking Law and Finance from university of Edinburgh with Distinction. Her thesis on "The Transformative Effect of AI on the Banking Industry" was published in the Canadian Banking Law and Finance Review in 2018.
