Patrice Ettinger is the Chief Privacy Officer at Pfizer, Inc. Patrice is a recognized expert in the areas of privacy and data ethics with expertise in global privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, responsible AI, intellectual property and related public policy. Patrice services on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), currently in the role of Past Chairwoman. She serves on the Legal Advisory Board at the NYU Center for Cybersecurity and sits on advisory boards at the Future of Privacy Forum and the Centre for Information Policy Leadership. Patrice is a former Chair of the Board of the International Pharmaceutical and Medical Privacy Consortium. Patrice has actively engaged in efforts to advance women in the legal and privacy professions. She leads the management committee of Executive Women in Privacy, was a founding member of the IAPP's Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board and is a former member of the Women in the Legal Profession Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Patrice is the 2019 recipient of the Women in Compliance Privacy Officer of the Year award. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and received her JD from Fordham Law School.
