An attorney by background, Var helps organizations govern, use, and procure AI systems in alignment with best practices, authoritative frameworks and global AI laws. Var's team at the Responsible AI Institute delivers the Institute's assessments and roadmaps for organizations, AI vendors and AI systems. Var is a Co-Instructor, along with Google's Alexis Cook, of Kaggle's AI Ethics course. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Var previously practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
