AI Security Maturity Model (AISMM) - Deep dive into the model
The AI Security Maturity Model is a comprehensive model that allows organizations to assess their maturity for 3 critical pillars: “Security for AI”, “AI for Security” and “Security from AI”. Borrowing concepts from CISA's Zero Trust Maturity Model, the AISMM defines 5 levels of maturity across 19 domains in AI Security. The AISMM also defines 5 key-indicators and success criteria for each domain to enable organizations to effectively identify their current state of maturity, highlight accomplishments and develop a plan based on prioritization of areas of improvement. The model aims to effectively connect frameworks like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 as well as regulations like EU AI Act to a well-structured and prescriptive approach to improving AI Security for the enterprise.
