Arun Ramchandran (aka ‘Rak’) is at the forefront of business growth, innovation, cutting-edge technology, and technology-led transformation as the Global Head of the GenAI Unit and the Hi-Tech & Professional Services Vertical at Hexaware. Since joining the organization in 2017, Rak has been instrumental in leading the Hi-Tech, Platforms, and Professional Services (HTPS) vertical BU, driving significant growth and innovation.

Under Rak's visionary leadership, Hexaware launched its GenAI Unit last year, marking a pivotal shift toward becoming an AI-first company. Previously, as the head of Digital Core Transformation and Consulting, Rak orchestrated Hexaware’s comprehensive software engineering, integration, decision sciences, enterprise architecture, and technology consulting services, encompassing a broad spectrum of service lines and digital transformation capabilities tailored for diverse industry segments.

He is the author and creator of the Trust Cycle framework, which focuses on the interdependencies between technology and trust and their co-evolution. This topic has been at the core and the subject of his various white papers, eBooks, blogs, podcasts, interviews, and speaking engagements. 

Rak’s prior experience with Capgemini and Infosys provides him with perspective and insights into successful technology service organizations. His base in the heart of Silicon Valley offers him a network and vantage point for interpreting and getting ahead of emerging technology trends. Rak is an alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Calcutta and is quite active in several Pan IIT and IIM initiatives and events.
