Bintu is an AI Adoption Manager based in Toronto, ON. She has a Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence from the Schulich School of Business and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Simon Fraser University. Bintu was honored as one of the Schulich School of Business's "Top 30 Under 30" alumni for positive change in AI innovation early in her career.  Bintu joined BASF, the leading global chemical manufacturing company, as an AI Adoption Manager focused on Generative AI in December 2023. In this role, she has led projects that integrate AI solutions to optimize workflows, drive innovation, and boost productivity across various departments. Bintu focuses on ensuring that investments in AI technologies deliver real-world results for BASF.  Before joining BASF, she founded Relooped, an AI-driven sustainable fashion marketplace selling discount overstock clothing to Gen-Z consumers. Under her leadership, Relooped was accepted into Next 36, a competitive accelerator program. This entrepreneurial journey sharpened her skills in innovation, business strategy, and sustainability.  Bintu's experience also includes roles in research and consulting. As a graduate researcher at the Schulich School of Business, she worked on cost-benefit analyses and network analysis projects, exploring AI's impact on business processes. Her internship as an AI Consultant at Loblaw Companies Ltd. provided hands-on experience applying AI solutions in a corporate setting.  She is passionate about making AI accessible and is dedicated to empowering professionals to confidently incorporate AI into their daily work. Bintu is also a member of Women in AI and actively works to foster a more inclusive tech community in the Toronto area. She has participated in panel discussions and guest lectures at Schulich in both 2023 and 2024, sharing insights on AI adoption, the importance of diversity in technology, and mentoring future AI professionals.
