Prasanna Surianarayanan is Vice President of AI Engineering at Goldman Sachs, where he leads development of scalable data infrastructure to support cutting-edge applications for wealth advisors. Drawing on five years of experience as a full-stack engineer, Prasanna brings expertise in designing reliable, high-performance systems with a range of relational, NoSQL, and caching technologies.
His recent focus includes advancing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, integrating innovative approaches like graph-based and hybrid systems to enhance the capabilities and accuracy of AI-powered solutions. Prasanna is passionate about ensuring that AI applications are robust, relevant, and trustworthy, driving product improvements and fostering innovation.
Prasanna holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. Committed to growing future talent, he actively mentors college students in New York City, helping them prepare for careers in software development.
