Sanjay Uppal

Sanjay Uppal is Vice President and General Manager of Broadcom’s Software Defined Edge Division. Mr. Uppal joined Broadcom from VMware where he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of VMware’s Service Provider and Edge business, delivering Networking, Security and Compute services at the Edge to telecom and enterprise customers. Mr. Uppal was CEO and Co-founder of VeloCloud Networks, leading the SDWAN company through fast growth and an acquisition by VMware in 2017. Earlier, he was President and COO of OnMobile Global, Vice President of the Application Networking business at Citrix, and CEO of Caymas Systems. Mr. Uppal holds an M.S. in Management of Technology from Stanford University, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.
