Maryam Farooq is a frequent speaker on how knowledge workers can leverage AI, and currently acts as an AI consultant and early-stage startup advisor. She currently serves as the Founder & Director for NYAI (New York Artificial Intelligence), and has been running AI events since 2016. NYAI partners with companies, communities, and conferences to showcase the latest, most interesting ideas in AI, ML, and data to their global AI community of 8K+. She is the former Co-Founder and COO of Aggregate Intellect (ai.science), a generative AI startup and graduate of the 2023 Creative Destruction Lab Accelerator program. Previously, she served as the New York Managing Director and the Global Director of Client Experience for Machine Colony (now defunct), a company that worked with governments and large enterprises to help them adopt AI at scale.
