Clarisse Awamengwi
Deeply passionate about the potential of emerging technologies to positively transform the global financial and monetary system, Clarisse Awamengwi works at the forefront of financial innovation. Building on broad and deep global experience, she has laid the groundwork for emerging technologies to create a more equitable, inclusive and accessible economy across both advanced and emerging markets. These range from accelerating progress on blockchain and digital assets at the World Economic Forum to evolving the future of banking at Deutsche Bank. She has been named to the Innovate Finance Women in Fintech Powerlist as a Standout 45 woman in fintech and rising star. She holds a Master’s degree in International Economy Policy from Sciences Po and Bachelor’s degrees in Foreign Affairs and Global Development Studies from the University of Virginia.
