Dr. Benjamin Kummer is Director of Clinical Informatics and Associate Professor of Neurology and Artificial Intelligence & Human Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. A board-certified vascular neurologist and clinical informaticist, he founded Mount Sinai’s Clinical Neuro-informatics Center, an innovation hub developing AI and machine learning tools for stroke and neurocritical care. His work bridges data science and clinical medicine, focusing on EHR-integrated AI systems, wearable data pipelines, and the ethical application of AI in healthcare.
