Eugenio Salas Iturriaga
2025 FUTURE AI LEADER SPOTLIGHT SPEAKER
Eugenio Salas Iturriaga serves as the Mexico City Hub Leader for the Young AI Leaders Community under the United Nations’ AI for Good Initiative (ITU). In this role, he promotes youth leadership in artificial intelligence, building partnerships across Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe to apply AI to social and urban challenges.
He is also the Founder of Alexandr.ia, an initiative dedicated to designing inclusive, AI-powered education systems in Mexico. Inspired by the ancient Library of Alexandria, Eugenio’s mission is to democratize access to personalized, high-quality education. Through Alexandr.ia, he leads a multidisciplinary team creating tools that bridge technology and human-centered pedagogy, including AI learning agents for schools and “Data Management for Kids” workshops.
Eugenio holds a background in Data Governance and Business Intelligence from Tecnológico de Monterrey. His work represents a unique intersection between technology, education, and social innovation, building a future where AI serves humanity.
