Before joining Ford, Fran was CTO at bp and held senior tech executive roles at Uber and Toyota Research Institute. She earned a PhD from UC Berkeley and a postdoc from Caltech. In 2025, she was recognized as Chief Data Officer of the Year and named to the AI100, Top 100 Women in AI, Top 100 Women in Tech, and Global Data Power Women.
