Federico "Fed" Cohen Freue is Senior Vice President, AI & Data Operations at Mastercard. He leads the company’s enterprise AI & Data strategy, investments across internal and commercial AI applications, and aligning the company’s internal processes with the emerging realities of rapid AI & data advancements, across risk management, public policy, employee literacy, and communications.

Prior to this role, Fed was Senior Vice President, Integration Executive with accountability over integration and financial performance of all acquisitions across the Data & Services business. He has led end-to-end integration for Dynamic Yield, a global platform that creates hyper-personalized consumer experiences, and SessionM, a global customer engagement and loyalty platform that helps orchestrate strong customer relationships. He is a seasoned AI and operations leader, having held senior leadership roles in pricing, investment management, and product management throughout his tenure at Mastercard.

Fed joined Mastercard through the acquisition of Applied Predictive Technologies (APT), where he led the firm’s Latin America & Caribbean practice. He managed implementation of advanced analytics for major companies in fifteen countries and developed innovative analytic methods to optimize acquisition pricing, call center operations, and capital investments.

Fed graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. with Distinction in Applied Statistics and Econometrics. He sits on the advisory board for the University of Virginia’s School of Data Science. He currently lives in Arlington, VA with his family.
