Kalika Sharma
Kalika Kharkar Sharma is a Creative Director and Professor in the animation & design space, with 20+ years of experience in the NYC metro area. She leads AntidoteFX, a women-led studio crafting high-end Animation, Design, and Video for clients like Marriott Bonvoy, Netflix and Carnegie Hall, as well as cinematic animated sequences for documentaries and films. Highlights include the title sequence for "Drive-away Dolls," a lesbian road-trip comedy by Ethan Coen & Tricia Cooke; and being on-site in Las Vegas as Branded Graphics Producer for the first iHeartRadio Music Festival (while 5 months pregnant with twins).
Beyond studio life, she’s a professor at NYU, and offers corporate and private training in motion graphics and video editing. On her YouTube channel KalikaFX, she shares her favorite techniques, workflows, and lessons from two decades in the creative industry.
Kalika lives in New Jersey with her husband and boy-girl teenage twins, who are still innocent enough to believe anyone with a website is famous. In her spare time you’ll find her grilling, baking, telling funny stories, taking long meandering walks, going on road trips, and doing Zumba, though not all at the same time.
