Kerry is an award-winning innovation leader, globally recognised for driving strategic improvement, innovation, change and transformation in the public and private sectors. As a trained machine learning developer and former advisor to the Alan Turing Institute and the British Standards Institute, Kerry brings technical expertise alongside a strong focus on responsible AI practices - ensuring innovation is both cutting edge and responsible. With international recognition for business and organisation innovation, ethics and governance, Kerry currently advises governments, including the UK AI Taskforce on developing AI regulation. Formerly a head of service development and innovation for the UK Civil Service, Kerry has led large-scale digital initiatives, guiding organisations, businesses and brands on design, development and implementation of new and enhanced strategic operating models and ongoing improvements to smart operations for improved services, efficiencies and outcomes, including through digitisation and AI-driven transformation, Working with academics, industry leaders, standards makers, technologists, Kerry also builds and drives forwards innovation roadmaps and frameworks that prioritise the needs of citizens, customers and consumers. Kerry is a member of the Responsible AI Institute and the International Data Science Foundation, is listed in the 100 Top Women in AI Ethics Globally and was a finalist in the AI-Conics AI Implementor of the Year Award.
