Kristi Kunworee Baishya is currently an AVP with the Chief Data Office at Nomura, where she focuses on AI governance and product initiatives. She brings more than a decade of experience spanning software engineering, machine learning, and AI product leadership, with a focus on embedding responsible AI practices in large, regulated enterprises.
Her prior work includes advancing enterprise analytics at Aditya Birla, where she delivered initiatives in forecasting, trading intelligence, and customer personalization, and contributed to the Global Analytics Centre at Cummins on workforce, pricing, and engineering efficiency-related initiatives.
Kristi holds a Master’s in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and serves as co-lead of the New York chapter of Women in Data, where she helps foster dialogue and community around AI and data leadership.
