Lucy Orr-Ewing leads Policy and Research for CHAI, where she drives policy engagement at both the state and federal levels. CHAI is a US-based non-profit that develops best practice guidance & frameworks, testing & evaluation criteria, tools and assurance resources for the Health AI ecosystem by driving consensus between its 4000-strong membership.
Previously, Lucy was a Harkness Fellow at Stanford Medicine’s Clinical Excellence Research Center, and prior to that served as Chief of Staff for Technology Policy for NHS England.
