With a career spanning both public and private sectors, Tantoco has held executive technology roles at major enterprises, including Palm, Fannie Mae, Merrill Lynch and UBS. As CTO, co-founded Grasshopper Bank, a digital commercial bank, launched in 2019. While Interim CEO of the NY Hall of Science and Chief AI Officer at NYU McSilver Institute, Tantoco advised nonprofit, academic, and public sector on policy, AI, smart city tech, regulatory compliance, suptech, and fintech.
