Namita Mohta
Namita Seth Mohta is a physician executive with expertise in health care delivery transformation. At NEJM Catalyst Innovations in Care Delivery, she serves as Executive Editor with responsibility for content strategy and quality and is part of the founding leadership team. Most recently, Dr. Mohta served as Director of the Serious Illness Care Program at Ariadne Labs, a health system innovation center at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She was part of the founding Population Health and ACO leadership teams as Medical Director, both at MassGeneral Brigham and the New England Quality Care Alliance (Tufts Medical Center). Her responsibilities have included designing and implementing value-based care with a focus on scaling tailored clinical interventions, integrating analytics and measurement, and leading systemwide change management. Prior to medical training, Dr Mohta worked as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Dr. Mohta has worked with multiple digital health start-ups and often consults with organizations to provide strategic and technical expertise and leadership, currently with Ianacare. She practices internal medicine as a Hospitalist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she also completed her internal medicine and primary care training. Dr Mohta is Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Associate Faculty at Ariadne Labs. Dr Mohta is a graduate of Yale College and Yale School of Medicine.
