Nico Puertollano is an artist, director, and cultural observer whose work lives at the intersection of design, identity, and emerging technology. A Filipino immigrant raised in New York’s Lower East Side, Nico began working in digital media during the original dot-com boom—experimenting with early web tools and video technologies to stretch the edges of motion, culture, and storytelling online.
Today, as co-founder of REZONATE—a creative studio bridging New York and Asia—he leads campaigns that fuse AI, animation, and narrative systems with deep cultural and emotional intelligence. His approach draws from Aikido, Buddhist thought, and subcultures like graffiti and jazz—bringing presence, rhythm, and intention into every frame.
For Nico, technology is not the story—it’s the brush. His work helps brands and institutions humanize innovation, making the future feel more grounded, more honest, and more alive.
