Ofir Zan leads AI Solutions & Enterprise at VAST Data (~$1B in annual software revenue, ~$25B valuation, the company has been profitable for the past five years). In his role, he gets a frontline view of high-profile and large-scale AI initiatives globally, with a focus on orchestrating the stack from bare metal to AI applications. It’s a horizontal role across GTM, Product, and R&D.
Ofir is hands-on with both the technical and commercial aspects of:
- Deployments that involve tens of petabyte-scale, archive and live, multimodal data
- Inference-time-compute scaling considerations
- Hybrid deployments that involve on-prem, AI cloud, and CSP environments
- Agentic AI offering and the delivery of agentic workflows at scale
With many of these deployments being first of their kind.
Formerly at AI21 Labs, a model building and enterprise AI delivery company, where he led global revenue across sales engineering, technical account execs, and business development. The company focused on deploying proprietary LLMs and AI systems in regulated environments, usually on-prem and VPC, as well as releasing an agent developer platform known as Maestro.
