Paola Cecchi Dimeglio

Paola Cecchi-Dimeglio, Ph.D., J.D.,LL.M., M.Sc., is a globally recognized expert in AI, Big Data, behavioral science, and talent analytics. She holds dual appointments at Harvard Law School and the Kennedy School of Government, where she chairs the ELRIWMA initiative. She co-chairs the Global Initiative on AI and Virtual Worlds and leads Sustainability for AI, Big Data, and Metaverse regulation at the UN’s ITU. She is the CEO of People Culture Data Consulting Group and inventor of I.D.E.A., and the author of Building a Thriving Future: Metaverse and Multiverse (MIT Press, 2025). She has published extensively, including more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, and contributes regularly to major outlets such as Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Bloomberg Law, and Forbes. Her research and tools, featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post, inform global practices in AI-driven talent development and data-based decision-making.
