Pranav Nambiar is a Senior Vice President at DigitalOcean, leading the strategy and execution of DO’s portfolio of PaaS and AI/ML services. Pranav is a senior executive with over two decades of experience running large businesses across key technology-areas such as AI/ML, Big data & Analytics, and Mobile. Before DigitalOcean, Pranav was a Director at Google Cloud and drove their Generative AI and Data Cloud platforms. He also used to drive Google’s planet-scale data management services and played an instrumental role in delivering market leading growth for Google Cloud Platform. Prior to Google, Pranav was a senior leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he drove three of its fastest growing multi-billion dollar services – Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Elasticsearch, and Amazon SageMaker. Before AWS, Pranav also held leadership positions at Microsoft and has driven many successful products in segments including consumer applications, mobile, and search. Pranav did his MBA from Foster School of Business, Washington, and was part of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. He received his B.E in Computer Science from R.V College of Engineering, Bangalore.
